A recent accident left one woman dead and sent another man to the hospital. According to police, a 66-year-old woman was driving too fast for the weather conditions at the time of the wreck. She ended up losing control of her vehicle, colliding with an oncoming tractor-trailer.
The driver who police say caused the wreck died while still at the scene of the accident. The tractor-trailer driver was apparently on the job when he was hit by the alleged negligent driver, and was sent to the hospital for treatment. He was released from the hospital’s care a short while later.
